In Bruges

The one thing that this movie will do for sure is make you want to visit Bruges. I mean the place looks like a fucking fairy tale (I think they say something like that in the movie too). Bruges is “the most preserved medieval town in Belgium” whatever that means. The city is like another character in the movie its fairly important and I am sure you can tell from the title of the movie. I don’t think the movie could take place anywhere else unless it was in “the most preserved medieval town in Germany,”
The movie is a dark comedy and while it has some serious morality issues it deals with for the most part it’s a very entertaining comedy (including Midgets!). Most of the comedy is from the dialogue. Colin Farrell’s character is ridiculously funny and I think 90% of the humor is from him. I remember thinking to myself many times “WTF are they talking about? This is awesome!”
I thought the background music was really good and it was done by the same composer who did Fargo( which the movie is really similar to).
So yeah pretty much if you have seen and like fargo you should watch this movie and even if you haven’t you should watch this movie then if you like it watch fargo.
